Wut?

Extremely popular Korean pop group Tohoshinki (also known as DBSK and TVXQ) has been banned from performing on one of Japan’s most popular music variety shows, Music Station.

…Excuse me?

Despite having the #1 single of the weekly and daily charts on Oricon, Tohoshinki was one of the only top 10 artists that weren’t invited on Music Station.  The rumor of this (that they were banned from Music Station) was confirmed by S-San, a person on Tohoshinki’s Japanese staff.

Why, we’re all wondering?  Tohoshinki is a threat to Johnny’s.

Yup.  You read right.

So, Johnny’s told MS to not let Tohoshinki onto the most watched music variety show in Japan.  Ouch.

This proves, if nothing else, that JE really does rule the entertainment industry in Japan.

Granted, the whole JE thing is a rumor, but it seems pretty damn likely, and I’m sure this isn’t the first or last time they will do this.

I think as payback, if JE ever tries to expand into Asia, Tohoshinki should get their asses banned on Star King or Inkigayo.  Not that I have anything against JE (as you all know, it’s quite the opposite), it’s just not really fair to one of the best boy groups in Asia.

JE really conquers japan’s entertainment industry. Also with the Johnny’s vs Kodansha war going on.
