Morning Musume’s official debut in the United States will be held at Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California this July!

Naturally, Morning Musume’s U.S. debut is going to happen when I’m in Japan.  Of course.

I love my life.

I Can’t Even Think Coherently Right Now

8 02 2009

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the PV for KAT-TUN’s “One Drop.”

I intend to properly review this, but for now, I would like to share my initial thoughts on this PV with you:

Thank you all for reading.

Your Star? Our Star? MY STAR

8 02 2009

Okay, so admitedly it took me forever to get around to listening to this.  But I just got a new job so my free time=0.  But today I got off early so I had some time and saw this on my desktop and thought, huh, maybe I should listen to that.  It came out like, a week and a half ago.

So when I started listening to C-ute’s fourth studio album, 4 Akogare MY STAR, I really wasn’t planning on reviewing it, just listening as background music.  But after I got halfway through the second track, I was so in love that I just couldn’t resist.  Read the rest of this entry »

If You Can’t Beat Em…

5 02 2009

If you can’t beat em, join em; right?  If you remember a couple months ago fans (including myself) were all up in a bundle because Johnny’s had pretty much engaged war with Tohoshinki by getting them banned on Music Fighter or something.

Obviously Tohoshinki hasn’t been hurt in the slightest at all.  They’ve released two very well-selling singles since then and an album in Korea, which is like the best-selling Korean album of all time or something.

So what does Johnny do?  “Hey, why not make Tohoshinki our best buddies?”

According to KBS, Tohoshinki was recently on SMAP x SMAP and will be on some show with KinKi Kids soon.  The article calls this a “honeymoon affair” bewtween Tohoshinki and JE.

And hey, I’m all for it.  Hot Korean guys working with hot Japanese guys?  What’s not to love?

And so they leave

I was just reading the H!O article on the Elder Club graduation.  I haven’t even seen the concert yet and I already got choked up and wanted to cry.

I dunno if anyone else feels this way, but I’m super depressed that they’re done with H!P.  (And yes, they’re still technically members until March 31st, but it’s not like we’ll see much of them before or after then.)

All I can say is that I hope UFA knows what the fuck they’re doing.  Which they normally don’t.
