30 Day Idol Challenge 18 ~Favorite Concert~

19 02 2012

The eighteenth day of the 30 Day Idol Challenge is your favorite idol concert.  Ah, yes!  Another easy no-brainer.

This has been my favorite concert for years.  It was the first and best I’ve ever seen.  I own the DVD of it and sadly, I watch it quite frequently.  It got me into idols and Hello! Project.  If you read my last post, you probably know exactly what concert this is by now.  It’s…

I Bring Good News!

12 01 2009

Well, it might be good news.  I’m not really sure what’s going to happen with them, but in April, 4 brand new fanclubs will begin under UFA.

The first will be, of course, Hello! Project (which depressingly will only consist of Morning Musume, Berryz Koubou, C-ute, and Mano Erina… but wait! Where are the eggs?!)

The second is (and this is the hopefully good part) what will be called M-Line, aka Elder Club minus a few.  This will consist of Nakazawa Yuko, Iida Kaori (wut?), Abe Natsumi, Yasuda Kei, Yaguchi Mari (!), Ishikawa Rika, Yoshizawa Hitomi, Konno Asami (!), Ogawa Makoto (!), Fujimoto Miki, Tsuji Nozomi (!!@!), and Ongaku Gatas  (Satoda Mai?, Noto Arisa, Sengoku Minami, Korenaga Miki, and Sawada Yuri).  I think this means a new concert unit, which is really exciting and I would be super super excited if all these artists started releasing music.  So happy.  I would probably explode if I saw a Yaguchi Mari solo single.

The third is Ayaway, a fanclub for Matsuura Aya, which is both good and bad.  Good because she won’t die.  Bad because a) I was hoping she’d switch to Avex, b) she probably won’t be perfoming with M-Line, which is boo, and c) she’ll probably still get boring music.  D:

The fourth and final is probably the funniest of them all.  And yes, that’s just me being a jerk.  But it’s a Melon Kinenbi fanclub called… *chuckle* Melon Kinenbi.  MAN.  These people are full of brilliant ideas for MKB.  Honestly, I can see like… 1,00 people joining this.  At max.  If that, even.

Overall, YAY more Elder Club!  I just hope they actually do something!  The only super disappointing thing here is… where’s Erika and Yui?

2009 Predictions

31 12 2008

Well, it’s almost New Year’s Eve, so I figure it’s time to do the predictions for next year.  These are mostly H!P-based, but I’m going to venture to other idols this year too.

Welcome Aboard, Sugiura Noa!

27 11 2007

Its the super-idol baby! Ultraman star Sugiura Taiyo and ex-Morning Musume member Sugiura Nozomi (that’s right, she’s no longer Tsujiji) just had their lovely baby girl! I was really conflicted between this being an ultrababy (boy) or a musumebaby (girl), but in the end, its a girl regardless, and I’m still happy.

Even though Nono’s actions upset a lot of H!P Kids mommies, I think she did the right thing. Sure, she got knocked up, but at least she got married afterward. :3

I’m very excited to see how Noa grows up. There’s no doubt that she already has a contract with Up-Front. And she’s not even a day old. I’m sure that as soon as she can walk, they’ll have her in 24-hour dance lessons and as soon as she can talk, 24-hour singing lessons. She’ll probably be in Momusu or some other group by 12, as much as Nono would not like for that to happen (she said at a press conference that she wouldn’t mind her baby being in Momusu, but she’d rather that it wait until it was older so that it could complete its schooling, unlike herself).

Welcome to the Hello! Project family, Sugiura Noa! :3
