2009 Predictions

31 12 2008

Well, it’s almost New Year’s Eve, so I figure it’s time to do the predictions for next year.  These are mostly H!P-based, but I’m going to venture to other idols this year too.

KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya and Matsuura Aya

1 08 2008

This is from an episode of “Merengo no Kimochi”, which I’ve never heard of (but stumbled upon by chance) where KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi Kazuya was guest starring. Coinicidentally, best-selling Hello! Project soloist Matsuura Aya was also there. She doesn’t do much besides laugh and look cute, but she’s there nonetheless.

Oh, and apparently Taguchi Junnosuke will make a fantastic bride someday. And there’s something “yuck” about dating Ueda Tatsuya.

Out of all the H!P girls, I’m pretty sure Ayaya has had more exposure to JE boys than everyone else combined.

On Kamenashi Kazuya

2 03 2008

I love LIPS. Partially because KAT-TUN’s microphone stands are kick-ass. Partially because Koki is really saying “This is the shit!” not “This is a sick” [I mean, come on, we’re not THAT stupid]. Also partially because Junnosuke in looks HILARIOUS [sorry if that offends you~].

But really, it’s because Kame’s so damn sexy. The first time I watched it live I almost passed out. And then I watched the PV and did the same thing. [Yeah, I watched them in the wrong order] Here, watch.
You’ll see what I mean.

KAT-TUN… AWAAAAAAY!

17 01 2008

I remember some time ago I won a raffle drawing and they said I could pick anything from yesasia.com as my prize. I was like, spazzing. And I wanted to try some male music (or anything non-H!P for once). A while before that, I had randomnly stumbled upong Arashi and had been obsessed with them for like… a week. And in that week, I explored Johnny’s. And while exploring Johnny’s, I also stumbled upon KAT-TUN, but I didn’t even give them a second thought then.

So I was at yesasia.com, browing for what I should buy, and I found KAT-TUN’s second album, Cartoon KAT-TUN II. I was vaguely interested and told Kuri about it (we were talking at the moment), and she was like “Tsukikirin, it has a song called Make U Wet. It HAS to be good.” Can’t argue with that logic. So I picked it out. It is, to this day, the only Japanese CD I own (not Asian, because I also have Super Junior’s Don’t Don). Read the rest of this entry »
